Deerfield is an affluent village near the city of Chicago in Illinois. It is considered to be a suburb of the larger city and it sits on the north shore of Chicago. Millennium Park was planned in 1997 as a way to transform railroad tracks and parking lots into a beautiful, usable area. The park has taken over the area and has begun to define the city. Millennium Park sits in the center of the downtown part of the city and it is free to visit at any time.

Deerfield is a wonderful Chicago suburb just 25 miles from the larger city.
